Operated via touch panel it uses ball and ring apparatus for reliable detection. Designed as per Test methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixture for Highway Engineering and ASTM D36 Standard test method for Softening of Bitumen (Ring-and-Ball Apparatus) it is ideal for determining the softening points of petroleum asphalts, coal pitch, liquid petroleum asphalt, etc.
